I'm a heart patient...and would like to know is 'fat free cheese okay to eat'?

Report as

Usually Fat Free Cheese has added sodium to compensate for the Fat for taste. It might not be a good choice it you are concerned about sodium intake.
For example 1/4 cup of regular cheddar cheese has 180 mg of sodium, while 1/4 cup of fat-free cheddar cheese contains 280 mg of sodium.

Ask your doctor ... they should have assigned you a nutrition expert.

Have you tasted it? On taste and texture alone, I don't think it's ok. It reminds me of Play-doh.
