Yup , I would even take it a step further and have citizens take a short test on current political events. I don't like the idea of somebody that likes a joke a president elect said and votes for him without knowing anything else or because all his buddies or parents are voting for said president.
No. The idea of requiring a photo ID has been pretty well debunked as a GOP scheme to keep non-white young poor people from voting. It's a racist, ageist, sexist, xenophobic idea that has no place in a democracy.
Yes you wouldn't want anyone (especially someone that wants to vote differently than you) to sneak into the wrong booth and say they are someone that is either home bound or recently deceased and get a second or third chance to vote. When you only get one vote.
