It's most common in cod. Just look it up on YouTube. It's messing around with people. The person who is trolling gets to laugh and the person trolled gets upset/angry/pissed/etc.

this is my kind of question.. trolling is basically messing and sort of "pranking" on video games and life like for an example your playing call of duty and you have C4 and there's some dude camping or just sitting in a corner for the entire game and you go behind him and you send the person a message saying "Turn around" or "trollolololol" and once they get the message and they turn around blow the C4 up and end their camping and possible kill streaks ;) its extremely fun

Trolling is like taunting, being mean, getting on people's nerves, etc. My friend told me that one way to troll is if you put trapping someone in a corner on CoD and start yelling at them for not doing well, or by calling out random names and saying they're bad.
