that's an opinion so u have to answer that your self but I personally think Lincoln was the best he freed slaves helped the union win the war was a great husband and father p.s. had to read chasing Lincolns killer good book u should try reading it
washington was the bravest in the sense he was first to take on the scary job' as of late all i can say is im 50 yrsold and the only time of prosparity and balance budget was with bill clinton so he has to be the best
Washington had the hardest job to start up a new nation, Lincoln decided to abolish slavery, JFK stood up to the largest country with nuclear weapons, Reagan tore down "big government" and helped the "little guy", Obama made sure we would all be helped, if hurt, by "ACA", if it stands. Pick one you never heard of.
The historians are fairly consistent in naming Lincoln, Washington and FDR as the top three (not necessarily this order). The order of the top three depends on party affiliation of the historian. But when the faces on Mt Rushmore were selected, one of my favorite Presidents made the selection: Calvin Cooledge. He selected Washington, Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Lincoln. He might have included a different Roosevelt if he'd been president a couple decades later. Note: two Republicans, one Democratic-Republican (yes, they were combined at one point) and one Independent.
Hands down Thomas Jefferson. As JFK said as he stood in the capital with the Supreme Court etc..."Never has there been so much brilliance in this place...Except with Thomas Jefferson was here alone". Great quote from a professed LIBERAL.....
