It's all about personal belief. They say that you will only truly know when you die, but nobody really knows that either. All I can say is don't be blindly faithful. Be skeptical, ask questions, don't ignore inconsistencies and loopholes.
Delusion. You cannot and so you may "choose to believe" but we all know what that means. You don't choose to believe the sun is there and for obvious reasons. Delusion is a faithful mans best friend while reality is his defiant enemy and persistent thorn in his side. The enlightened don't pretend anything and simply live as a human on earth for that is exactly the truth as it is. We don't need to know god is real to love life, gods only bring suffering for us all.
Jeremiah 29 tells us how to know ; 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
there is no real way. it's about believing in Him. if you don't believe in God and believe in the scientific 'we evolved from monkeys' then think of tat as god drawing us. when you draw you are moving the pencil on the page. the lines do not magically appear on the page. god lives on a whole different dimension that can only be reached by passing away. your soul travels in a place you cannot reach at the moment. if you believe you believe and if you don't you don't, but I believe.
Just look around you! Everything in nature is perfectly designed by a supreme being (God). Any field of science that you study in depth will reveal how perfectly it was designed. There is no way that a random explosion can create life, or complete chance making even a single strand of DNA.
Over 20 centuries ago, God came down from heaven and walked among us. God became a man! Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus Christ, who showed God's love for us by dying for us. He then proved He was divine by rising from the dead.
You cannot know, because there is not one shred of evidence any god exists. If you want to believe in a god, and spend all your time trying to please an invisible friend, then you have to use blind faith to believe.
Depends on what you consider knowledge. If you can allow yourself to believe, and feel that you know it without needing proof, that by definition is faith. That may be all you require. If you need to see, touch, find tangible evidence of something to know it, then God cannot be known, because there is no verifiable proof.
I see the wonders of creation in the birds, animals, and plants, clouds, rain , snow every little thing; I feel His love in my heart, and when I remember to shut my mouth and listen I do hear the still small voice. I also know a. Lot of you will debunk what I have said, I do not care what they say : all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed to believe the same as I believe, try it you might like it.
Many people wonder if belief in a Creator is reasonable. Some wonder,"We'll if I can't see him, how do I truly know he exists?" However, think about air, can we see it? No. But we know it's there because we feel it and see how it sustains life. In a similar way, as we look at the planet Earth, the variety of plant and animals, as we examine the human body and DNA and RNA structures we see how complex it was designed. Life is too complex to be a series of ransom happenstance. We must have a Creator! At Romans 1:20 it says, "For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable."
Nature can provide the answers you need to see that there is a God in heaven. The fact that you are even asking this question shows your need for a divine father in heaven. It's called a spiritual need, which Jesus spoke about at Matthew 5:3. Humans were created in God's image, not a physical image, but with his qualities, such as love, kindness, wisdom, justice, and many more. Because we are able to display these qualities is sufficient reason to believe that we were created.
