Absolutely. Low (or no) carbs is the way to go. I've lost tons of weight and am very healthy from the low carb diet. With Atkins you have to have less than 100 grams of carbs per day. I'm on a variant called the Anabolic diet - NO carbs monday to friday - eat whatever you want on the weekend. Theres a book about it by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale.
