If I am making $30,000.00 a year what would my hourly wage be ?

Report as

If you are making $30, 000 a year, your hourly wage is $3.50. To get this, you basically say that if $30000 is equivalent to 12 months, what about one month. By doing this, you get $2500 which you will use to say that if $2500 is equivalent to 30 days, what about one day in which the answer will be $83.3. Next convert them to hours, that is 24 hours is equals to $83.3, what will one hour represent to get your final answer.

The general way to figure this is to divide the annual salary by half. So, in this case, 30,000 divided by two is 15,000. Then drop the 3 0's. $15 an hour for a full time job.

Conversely, if you are going to make $15 an hour, you would double it to 30 and add 3 0's to get your annual salary.

If you make $10 an hour. Double it. 20, add 3 0's. 20,000 a year. Got it?
