To survive long enough to reproduce in order to continue the species, this is not a "reason" it is simply a fact of the natural world. The rest of the things we have and do are just icing on the cake, enjoy it, don't spend to much time attempting to add supernatural ideals to it.
Think. Can we all agree on the main purpose of a kitchen knife. Generally yes.Can we all agree on the main purpose of human existence.Generally no. That means that you are free to make it what you want and everyone does just that. If there was a SPECIFIC reason, then we would have all agreed on it a long time ago.
Two scriptures that come to mind are: 1) Isaiah 45:18 which says: “For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: ‘I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.’”
2) Revelation 4:11 which says: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.”
We exist because its God's will. He wanted us all to live a wonderful life. He wanted to share this wonderful gift!

To add to TTaylor87's answer:
Genesis 1:28 "Further, God blessed them and God said to them: Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth."
God created the earth to be inhabited by perfect humans who were to take care of the earth, fill it with perfect children, and have the animals in subjection. As a loving father, he provided all we need on this earth, and made it perfect. Humans have wrongly used their free will, and have caused the ruin of the earth. However, his purpose still stands, as can be seen at Isaiah 45:18
