Tilt your head so your sore ear points toward the ceiling. Put a couple of drops of peroxide in your ear and let it bubble for about 15 seconds, then tilt your head and let the drops flow onto a Kleenex. Repeat once in a few hours if you get no relief. It usually works within 1/2 hour for me.
VikiH52 is completely correct and none of the other answers to this point are worth anything. BUT it will occasionally make you dizzy which could lead to nausea. Just don't jump off and have to head to work for a few minutes. If you only do one ear in a session it'll help
Olive oil and crushed Garlic works best for a Natural home remedy. Place a cotton ball in the mixture and put the cotton ball in your ear. If you don't have garlic the oil will be satisfactory. Rest also helps heal the body of any infection.
