Why do some parents think that they child is always up to something

they dont trust some of there kids

Report as

Because maybe there child has done something in the past, to allow for mistrust.
Maybe the parent wants to make sure they are doing the right thing and not getting into....Shenanigans.

Because they just want to make sure that they are making the right choices. I don't think it's lack of trust but more of making sure there not doing anything to mess up there life

Because the parents were kids once so we know how kids think...and these days kids really don't think things out.

Because they are concerned about doing right. The best way to show parents you are responsible is by Actions....good actions.

It is NOT what a kid says they are going to do. It is what the kids has DONE that makes parents this way. Trust is a two way equation. If trust has not been shown, it won't be given. And a correct parent does NOT trust first. Trust must be shown (repeatedly) to earn trust back.
