Why not? Why do you have to Judge anyone?
He's real. If you want to believe him, believe, if not, don't. Period.
He's there, If you seek him, you'll find him.

Why do people not belive in God and Satan? It's true you can obviously see the evil in the world who do you think is tempting them? You can also see the good as in God.
And FYI- atheists would love to leave Christians alone, if you would just stop shoving your beliefs on people and into our laws, schools, and governments.
Because there is to much in the world that cannot be explained through only science. The words "coincidence" "just because" are used quite often in the evolution world. The same question can be asked, why don't people believe in God?
2.) There are different definitions of the word theory. In philosophy, theory means something that has not been completely proven yet. In science, a theory is something that has not been disproven, meaning there is plenty of evidence for it.
I believe in something that actually makes sense. everything is ongoing because energy never dies out. matter arises from dead matter. you believe in contradictions, I believe in things that actually make sense. but tthis is not my religion. you're too judgemental of things you don't even know about
To give them hope and to give life a purpose.
Because that is how they have come to understand the world. Everyone understands it a little differently, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be. There is no right way to live; we need all kinds.
Atheists have their beliefs, I have mine.
That's how they were raised. I highly doubt anybody actually does believe. I mean, most of these so called believers don't even know anything about any other religion. Why would theirs be correct? Not only that, but it's for the idea of a scapegoat. They want someone to blame it on. Plus, these ridiculous ideas come from people wanting something that would punish the bad or the immoral people, although that's the part of the justice system in the government.
I didn't always. Thru many events in my life I came to believe. I sought Him and He revealed Himself.
Because they can...its freedom of religion. I believe in the Jedi because I can >:)
Oh lord, another controversial religious question? We believe because we want to. We have faith because we feel the Holy Spirit guiding us. We live through Him.
If there was no God, there would be no us.
God made me an atheist. Who am I to question his wisdom?
because one represents good and the other represents evil if their was no Satan people would do bad things because they believe they would not be punished
we have to blame someone. evil is cuz of Satan and bad things happen because its the will of god. has nothing to do with you pulling the trigger.
The idea of omnipotent beings arose for the sole purpose of explaining the inexplicable. Long ago, even philosophers believed in gods. Now, in this day and age, there is substantial evidence showing that these views are false. Despite this, religion is still tolerated worldwide, and no one calls you an idiot for your beliefs. To quote another, "I can tell you that, if the world was to start again, and if all knowledge was wiped from the planet, man would discover again. They would encounter fossils, discover atoms, map constellations and life would return to how it is now, but I promise that the idea of a talking snake would never be believed again."
God draws us to Himself. Those of us who felt the pull of the Holy Spirit .. Believed.. And accepted. Then we read our Bible and learn about God and satan. We CHOOSE good over evil.
We were created by God and before Satan became satan he was an angel of God but then decided to have his own way and that's how he became Satan.
Religious indoctrination during childhood (aka brainwashing), fallacious logic, gullibility, fear, ignorance of history, science, other religions, and the subject of religion in general, emotional comfort, wishful thinking.
different people have different religions believe what you think is real ok?
Because you can see it everyday. There is evil, and there is good. The world is to perfect to be created by anything but a creator, which is god. Many things that are in the bible have happened in real life. Who could be that accurate with a book written over 2000 years ago?
If you believe that the Bible is Gods message to us, you have to believe in God and Satan because the Bible tells us of them. The Bible is 100% true and accurate.
Because they want to think someone cares about them and to feel a sense of belonging.
There's good reason to believe in God, and the Bible gives sound evidence about God's existance as well as his creation. (Genesis1:1;Psalms 19:1, 104:24;Romans 1:20) Even scientists have identified over 100 chemical elements and their atomic structure displays an intricate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic table points to obvious design. Such amazing design could not possibly be accidental, a product of chance. We readily acknowledge that things such as cameras, radios, and computers have been produced by an intelligent designer. So would it be reasonable, to say that far more complex things such as the eye, the ear, and the human brain did not originate with an intelligent Designer?(John 4:24, 7:28; 1 Cor. 15:44)
People have a natural need to have some one to right all wrongs and set good apart from evil. People need there to be an explanation as to why the horrible things in life happen. God and Satan are merely the Christian personifications of these things.
They believe in God. They know that God used to have an Arch Angle or an angle high in power and in favor with God. BUT Lucifer his Arch Angle wanted more power than God. So he turned some of the angles on his side. We call them fallen angels or demons. God called him Satan and he was pure evil. He made sin. All it dose is turns you away from God a bits you in the butt. So we know he's out their and that we need to stay away from his temptations. Like sex before marriage, cheating, drugs, anything that could break your spiritual bond with God.
You need to ask? God created all. Satan is trying to destroy all. Look within yourself. It's bigger than we are. Satan has already been defeated. Yoou need to decide where you are.
It's the story of life.
God & all he created was perfect, no unholiness existed, wait just one minute & meditate on that.
Satans pride lead to the destruction of many. Even holy angels, of man, of our confidence in God, & look at the effect the Accuser has on mankind, he has made many believe God is a liar, even before Eve. His lot is in the Lake of Fire. I refuse to follow him & his wickedness.
SOME modern scholars say that Satan is not a real person. They claim that he was merely created in the imagination of men. This controversy is nothing new. "The Devil's deepest wile," wrote 19th-century poet Charles-Pierre Baudelaire, "is to persuade us that he does not exist."The Bible describes Satan as a real person who exists in the invisible spirit realm. (Job 1:6) It tells us about his vicious and ruthless qualities as well as his evil actions. (Job 1:13-19; 2:7,8; 2 Timothy 2:26) It even records conversations that Satan had with God and with Jesus.-Job 1:7-12; Matthew 4:1-11. Where did such an evil being come from? Long before man existed, God created his 'firstborn' Son, who eventually came to be known as Jesus. (Colossians 1:15) In time, other 'sons of God,' called angels, were created. (Job 38:4-7) All were perfect and righteous. However, one of those angels would become Satan.Satan was not his given name at the time of his creation. It is a descriptive name, which means "Adversary; Enemy; Accuser." He came to be called Satan because he chose a life course in opposition to God. Satan "did not stand fast in the truth." (John 8:44) .
To answer your question, belief in God, whatever god or gods, a person believes in has been passed down through the ages in families an or whatever religion a person was associated with. I can really agree with Eric's explanation, because everything he said was coming from the Bible, and can be substantiated based on those Bible truths. As free moral agents we do have the right to choose what we want to believe, but shouldn't that choice be based on truth rather then hear say or a lie. If we believe someone who is inaccurate or misinformed about what they think may be the truth, would we then become a follower of them, an then be just as misinformed? Here's a thought the Bible says this @ John 8:12 & 1 Peter 2:21 after considering those scripture if you choose to do so, you might want to take a look at this website www.jw.org for further enlightenment about the answer to the question you ask. What could hurt to investergate?
