How do you qualify for student loan forgiveness (teacher)?

I have worked in low economic school teaching Sp Ed for over 10 years and been faithful to paying my loan.

this is the tragedy of education in the U.S you are a SLAVE to debt before you even get a job.
I've told my children to avoid it at all costs . you'll never be able to do what you want as long as you are a slave.

Think each state has different regulations on that...In MS the program is administered by the State Department of Education, there is a form to fill out, get your Principal to sign and once accepted and verified you get a nice letter from your student loan company saying that $x dollars have been forgiven, your new balance is...

Since you're already paying your loan, you do stand a chance to be considered for loan forgiveness. The eligibility requirements are specific to your state's public service loan forgiveness requirements. Contact your state's student aid information center and find out how best you stand to benefit from your situation. I hope all goes well.
