Yes... it can. Stress can take a MAJOR toll on ones body and systems. Your friend needs to do things to relieve stress. Running, kick boxing, even walking. It doesnt matter what your friend does... but needs to do something.
Hi. Stress is one of the leading killers in America. Not only does it have it's toll on your mental stability, it also takes you down physically. As stated by Cat8069, your body is strained. It also becomes addicting. There is such a thing as "High on Stress." A person's lifestyle adopts and becomes familiar w/ these anxieties. When it is not feeling that rush of "being late," or making that person mad, or not doing the chores you were meaning to do... the body goes through withdrawal. Then, some create those things to happen, so they can get that "rush" of feeling "Stress." Not a good thing. Enjoy your life and be grateful for the things you can do. Try not to put yourself in situations where you will be "stressed to the max." It's not a good cycle. Have a relaxing day!
