When filling out job applications, do I have to put that i was fired from my last job?

If so, any tips on what to write for reason? I was fired for not coming in. I told them I hurt my hip, and they said I had to have a doctor's note, but i didn't bring one in.

If the application doesn't ask for it, then don't. A lot of applications say previous jobs and then asks for the reason for release of employment from position or something like that. In that case, be honest because they WILL call your previous employer and lying before you even start your job is not a good impression.

If it is written in your experience certificate then you should write it otherwise there is no need to mention it. You can say all that when you are called for interview and it will be easy to explain why you were fired for.

If it asks, answer honestly. Don't lie that will come back to bite you. Being fired doesn't always count against you as a potential employee.
