Technology is so addictive because of the pleasure that comes with playing an online game as well as the convenience of instantly communicating to someone to someone else you value amongst other interesting things. Scientists have revealed that video games actually trigger dopamine releases in the brain. This is the chemical that is responsible for the feelings of pleasure.
