What's a good reptile as a pet?

I was thinking about getting a Chinchilla, but I realized there not really what I want. I kind of wanted a bearded dragon I'm not sure what to get yet.... I want somethin that wont bite me and I can pick up it would be cool and just chill..... Any ideas?

A smaller lizard may not let you hold it as often as you may want to, but they're very friendly and don't bite.

Maybe a small turtle? They may be shy, but completely friendly!(As long as you don't hurt it. ;) )

A bearded dragon, small lizard, snake or ghecko.

Snake a gecko uh a turtle, a snake is fun to play with but I've had 2 geckos and they are easy to take care of but don't take it out of the cage and I like to see a turtle walk around and eat
