No...then again we haven't had a good president for ages. He did do something no other president has done though...he made Carter seem like a good president o.O

yes!!
what had he done?... nothin
When has anyone in America died from a drone?
And I bet you can't name a single president that's done anything worth while.
You know why?
Because the two parties, will not allow each other to do anything, they veto everything the president wants to do.
No he's actually done absolutely nothing
Worst president ever.
How to start a huge argument on ask.com...
Well I think we could of had better but whats your opinion?
Umm.. No
We won't know until we look back, for now everything we say is pretty much blind judgement. Like the wise people say (theGreatBambino) hindsight is 20/20. Looking back, I think we lost our last good president to an assassination in Texas.
When the "affordable health care act" is consuming your paycheck and causing employers not to hire you for 'tax' reasons, you will have your answer.
I'd say he was the lesser of two evils in this past election. That's as far as I'm prepared to go at this time. In a decade from now we will have a clearer picture and can give you a more reliable answer.
No. Neither is Romney.
It is your opinion he stoped the Iraq war
This question is really a matter of opinion. There is really no right or wrong answer. This is gonna cause a slew of arguments.
No obama is all about the redistribution of wealth and that is the textbok definition of communism
But greedy people, such as yourselves, feel that taxing the wealthy at higher rates is somehow wrong, The wealthy benefit most from being in a country where good education, resources, and money to spend allows them to increase their wealth. They should be willing to pay the country back for their chance at wealth.
Noooooooooooooooooooooo :I
He's a good speaker connects with people but unfortunately a terrible leader and president is starting to destroy our children's future with his spending attitude panders to far left doesn't represent whole countries problems
In all honesty, this is a very ignorant question. Presidents can only be judged, years after they have left office. While we are in the presidency presently, we have not felt the effects of his policies. Since we are only half way through his presidency I say it is to soon to tell. We will have history to judge.
That is why I say this answer is ignorant. Lincoln was saw as a dictator during his presidency, yet only now do we see that those actions were necessary to preserve the Union. LBJ was unpopular for Vietnam, yet most of our most prominent services were from his "Great Society" bills. That is why I say it is to soon to tell.
Not exactly..
yes
Yes he is. Because he is not President to stroke his ego. He is President because he truly cares about this country and everyone in it. He wants everyone to get a fair shake and opportunities to get an education and healthcare etc.You can't ask for more than that. The ONLY reason he has not accomplished a lot is because there are a bunch republicans that want him to fail and they do everything they can to block his policies. Did you watch the State of the Union address? Did you notice John Boehners face every time there was applause. Mitch McConnell the minority leader for the republican senate said that his main objective was to make sure that President Obama was a one term president. Thankfully that did not come to be.
No, all he does is talk about change but none of the change I have seen has been any good.
we could've gotten better but he'll have to do
No, he is the worst president in history. He had a chance to do great things when the economy tumbled; he chose to make it worse. "never let a good crises go to waste". He ignored the Bush TARP stipulations and just handed billions to financial corporations. They repaid him at election time. He did all he could to make it worse (easier to takeover). His voters were the poor so he made everybody poor...
he is a horrible president, unless you consider a money-sucking liar a good one
Let's see;
The last president got us into two very expensive wars and never got Bin Laden. Obama is getting us out of the wars and Bin Laden is gone.
The last president looked shocked that he would need to spend 750 billion to get his banker buddies out of the ditch in 2008 but gave them the money no strings attached. Obama had to spend to pull the economy out of that ditch but did it with requirements that the government get paid back when possible for the loans.
The last president made sure he gave huge tax breaks to the rich. Obama has forced an end to those breaks for individuals making more than $400K per year.
The last president led us to the worst financial meltdown ever. Under Obama the economy has stabilized.
But no Democrat will ever be a good president if you ask Republicans.
No, because he is ignoring the Constitution, expanding the government too much, and has caused inflation and our national debt to skyrocket.
what is your definition of a good president? there is no correct answer but only facts for you to make an opinion
pros
- obamacare
- got us out of a recession technically
- helped with hurricane sandy
- is a two term president
- killed osama bin laden and momar gadafi
cons
- spent a lot of money
- taxes
- government shutdown and sequester
- inflation
whether he is a good president or not is for you to decide but my personal opinion is that he is better than most presidents just look at the pros and there are more pros than cons so yes i would consider him a good president.
