I do it every night and I have for three years now with the same phone and I still have long battery life. At the end of every day I run between 40%-50% battery remaining when I plug it in again.

Yes. At least once a month allow phone to go 20% or less & fully recharge. This gives it a full cycle charge which is necessary to maintain battery in full capacity.

charge it when it gets low, whether its day or night. I have to charge mine a couple of times a day as I listen to at least 2 hrs of music on my phone & get on ask & txt alot if im not at work.
