I just ignore it or if it's bad , try to tell the person . Most get mad , so usually , I pass it by .

why not in the comment section attempt to share your thoughts and educate them instead of just deleting their answer?
You would rather the world be kept ignorant?

Veryy good answer .. Ask isn't based on right or wrong answers . It's someone's opinion .. Unless there opinion is rude, off topic, or highly inappropriate then you can report it ..

That sounds right solo

Well, yesterday when someone asked who told on Nixon about his secret audio tapes, a bunch of people wrote "Forrest Gump". Should all of those stayed up? I didn't flag it, but I wrote the correct answer. So one right answer and 6 "Forrest Gumps". I think leaving those up makes all of us on Ask look stupid. So I think this was a really good question because I honestly didn't know if I should flag them. I still don't know.

Good point Sin.. Guess we all just have to use our judgement

I just saw this. I guess if someone wanted to vote "fun" they could, but as for me, I'm not going to mess with it. I was at the hospital in between tests when I answered this. So they ended up giving me the chemical to make my heart race and I thought ," what the heck is this?" It hardly did a thing compared to asthma attack. So they did the echo first. Then they do an IV port. Then you wait. Then they take pictures of the heart for 20 minutes with this big
Axhine that moves over the chest area. Then they take you for you stress test which caused the heart to beat a "little" fast. Then they out radioactive dye in the port. Then you wait another 30 minutes. Then they go and take the first set of pics they took a second time bit this time it has the dye in it. Then you get the IV thingy out and they check your vitals to see if your heart naturally went back down and it did. So I had my phone and in the waiting room, I would read a question from Ask and all these people I didn't know, of all ages (usually a lot older but sometimes it's hard to tell how old someone is) gave their OPINION (ha ha) of what the answer should be. It was so much fun. I usually am real shy but I was laughing with my husband at one of the questions (which was "can we transplant brains from one person to another?") and people just chimed in so I went with it. So that took about 6 hours and tomorrow they'll have the results. Whew! Worn out ! ;-)

I learned that correcting a person doctor on the Internet only causes a troll fight. I find it better to flag the response and if they wish to read mine they can.
Report as
Doctor= directly (sorry for the typo)
Report as
Sincerity, can you post in the main question so I can flag your response as helpful? I feel people reading it would be great.
Report as
Did you get them all flagged ? I guess if that makes you feel better , then go for it !
Report as
@Mr.Wayne-get what flagged? I never flagged those answers. I think they're still up but I can check...I will check. If I can find it. It's been a few days. In fact I'm not sure how many days it's been. And all I have is this phone . I gotta get me a laptop . I don't think they're that expensive anymore.
@matron-sure, I'll leave an answer in the main post. I will do it later. Am at the hospital.
Report as
@blades-I forgot to put your name above at the explanation of what went on yesterday from the stress test which is several comments above this so it now looks like I was just rattling on about nonsense so maybe someone should flag it ha ha
Report as
Well, I've been following along, and I hope all is well with you! Just w a i t i n g. At the hospital is stress enough!

Well, for a question asking for factual answers, if an answer is wrong I usually report it as "nonsense". If its the kind of question wanting opinions, then none of them need to be reported unless they're blatantly trying to provoke someone's anger

A few days ago, someone asked "who told on Nixon about the audio tapes" or it was something close to that. I wrote the right answer which took a lot of digging around so I was sure my answer was right, then a few people said "Nixon" as their answer, one said "John DeN" and then there was about 6-8 people who wrote "Forrest Gump". I didn't know if I should flag those so ai didn't but this is an example of why I think this is a good question. If left up, it will make Ask look like a site for dumb people, or a site that doesn't take things seriously, or is this why we have the "fun" button maybe? I just checked that question and people did flag the Forrest Gump answers so they are gone. I think Josh Bagels answer is the best advice on this question. And I'm glad it was asked because I was getting ready to ask it. It is a good question.
