Violence in schools are raising/lowering?

What do you think? I think school violence is not raising because most bullying and what not is done on technology. example cyberbullying.I think that the true violence that there is phyisically is becoming more brutal however I still dont agree schools have more violence its just more brutal.Which in the end still isnt a good thing.

I am 71 yrs old, retired, and taught high school math for 13 yrs before changing careers due to money. School violence is on the increase, or raising from where it was a few years ago. Reasons?? Parents are the reason. Many don't keep up with what their children are doing, where they go, or who they are with. One out of 3 kids don't even have a Dad living at home now. Marriages now have less than a 50-50 chance of actually making it, without divorce.
Families, on the average, don't pray, and Moms and Dads don't pay that much attention to children anymore. I do hope it changes, but it won't until someone finally realizes that schools should have parents involved in Everything it does......not the Fed Govt.

You mean rising not raising. It seems that what is lowering is the level of education.

School violence is on increase. In my childhood teacher would punish us even they caned us, even our parents use to punish us. But now that teacher and student relations even that of parents is not there. If a student is punished or if even punish their kids they complain and even held for child abuse. So kids are taking disadvantage of all that and thus ethically and morally they are not as strong as their parents or forefathers were. All these things are responsible for increase in crimes in school. In our old days it was said "spare the rod and spoil the child." I find it to some extent very true.
