Look at the word on the blank. If it is the smaller measure of the two words, then you need to multiply bc you will need many more of the smaller measure than a big one. So use your conversion (like 12 in = 1 ft) and mult by 12. If the word on the blank is the bigger measure, then divide cause you don't need as many.
