I think it's fairly obvious to anyone who reads it objectively that the bible was written by ignorant and very fallible human beings. No work of divine inspiration would have so many discrepancies, idiosyncrasies, and blatant falsehoods.
( 46 ) And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.
( 47 ) And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.
The Bible was written over a period of 1400 to 1800 years by more than 40 different authors. The Bible is a compilation of 66 separate books, divided into two primary divisions: the Old Testament (containing 39 books) and the New Testament (containing 27 books). It is believed that all of the books of the Bible were written under inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
But of course no one really knows if it was inspired by God.
The Bible is a gift from God. This unique book reveals things that we could never find out, because it tells us about the creation of the starry heavens, the earth, and the first man and woman. The Bible also contains reliable principles to help us cope with life’s problems and anxieties. It explains how God will fulfill his purpose and bring about better conditions on the earth. It is also a heartwarming gift, for it reveals something about the Giver, Jehovah God. The fact that he has provided such a book is proof that he wants us to get to know him well. The Bible can help you to draw close to Jehovah. The Bible is also historically accurate and reliable. Its accounts are specific. They include not only the names but also the ancestry of individuals. The Bible is inspired of God(2 Timothy 3:16) Although the Bible is a practical book, it reflects a keen understanding of human nature. and it contains very helpful information that can show people how to live amid the complexities of the world today. Those who guide their steps by the Bible can come to have a life that truly is more enjoyable and successful.
The Christian religion believes the Bible was written by over 40 different authors writing testimonials on a common theme in history. The Bible is the Word of God, but since God is not human, he chose to inspire those who are.
It is completely man made. Missanna87 already gave you many details, another to remember is that the council of Nicaea in 325 ad decided which books should be included in the bible in order to deliver a cohesive message. It includes to many stories that involve the knowledge, or lack there of, that bronze-age men would have had. Had it actually been written by a divine entity it would have spoken to us all in a way that would be unmistakable, it would not include stories that an all knowing being would know we would prove false. It would not have plagiarized many of its stories from previous religions, namely the great flood, Adam and Eve, the life of Jesus, and the resurrection. A "god" would not have made these mistakes and so many more that I'm sure others will point out.
When people speak of the Bible as inspired, they are referring to the fact that God divinely influenced the human authors of the Scriptures in such a way that what they wrote was the very Word of God. In the context of the Scriptures, the word 'inspiration' simply means 'God-breathed.' Inspiration means the Bible truly is the Word of God and makes the Bible unique among all other books.

Here is a list of sacred writings grouped by religion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_writings#List_of_sacred_texts_of_various_religions. Most of those religions say their sacred writings are of divine origin, and provide a guide as to how we should live our lives. They lay claim to miracles because of their sacred writings. The odds are that the Bible is as valid a text as any of the hundreds of other supposedly divine scriptures. There is really nothing that makes the Bible any more valid than those others. The fact is that in the entire history of the planet, the only thing people "know" about god or gods is what other people wrote or spoke. Anyone who puts faith in a book is putting their faith in the person who wrote the words.
THUS SAITH THE LORD: 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction to righteousness: The Holy Bible is the infallible word of God. God said it I believe it, that settles it.
DIVINE... 2nd Timothy 3....... 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Sure, the bible may SOUND divine to you. But that doesn't necessarily mean it is... The only problem is that most Christians don't see that. -___- The only way to find out if it really is divined is though science. And science says it is not divine. So I'm going to say no, it is not divine. It is made by man.
We know, if we know anything, that the bible was written by savages — savages who believed in slavery, wars of extermination & polygamy. It tells us that god is a murderer; that God killed, or caused to be killed, millions of innocent men, helpless children, defenseless women, and even livestock. This blasphemous book tells us that god ordered soldiers to keep virgins for themselves. The Bible slanders God. So far from being divine, the bible has not the appearance of being even true. If there is a God, bible is a blasphemy. If there is no God, the bible is a forgery. Either way, bible is not worthy of any credit.
To prove the Bible is NOT the "Words of God," we need only one bad story, only one untruth, only one contradiction. And, there are countless stories in Bible that are unjust, cruel, false, and pure filth. Sayings that we know are the words of cruel, mean, heartless and small-minded men. Words of hate & vengeance! Bible has been the fortress and defense of nearly every crime. Most of its laws & moral codes are abhorrent to every good and tender man. It would be more consistent to call bible the "Words of Devil" to harmonize between its philosophy and its sentiments.
The Bible itself says it is from God, mankind's Creator. 2 Timothy 3:16. "The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong input loves; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right." (Living Bible) "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather then on Christ." 2 Colossians 2:8 (New International). " We do not try to trick people into believing-- we are not interested in fooling anyone. We never try to get anyone to believe that the Bible teaches what it doesn't . All such shameful methods we forego. We stand in the presence of God as we speak and so we tell the truth, as all who know us will agree." 2 Corinthians 4:2. (LivingBible). " Satan, who is the god of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see glorious light of the Gospel that is shinning upon him, or to understand the amazing message we preach about the glory of Christ.(LivingBible)
