I do agree that this might start a serious discussion later on into the night, but I will give you an answer. If you just want to go somewhere just to be there, then you might have to ask this question somewhere else since this is just opinions. At the same time, if you are looking for a new religion then you shouldn't just be going around to different places because you will become stressed as each different religious leader pounds their point of view into your head. Instead, do your own research and decide for yourself appeals to you the most, and then try that out. Remember that if one particular church does it one way, a different church might be totally different. Sorry if it seems like I'm ranting and just repeating what everyone else is saying (but in different words), but I'm just giving my own opinion. Or you could just not have a religion, as was suggested by the first comment. No one is going to judge you for that. Okay, so they might, but you really should ignore the people that bother you about it. Hope this helps a little! :)
whichever one you feel the most attracted to and then from there just gain faith in it. id suggest not going towards satanism, thas some bad voodoo. personally im an atheist and im gonna die and nothings gonna happen :)
If you really are interested to have a religion, it all starts with you giving your heart and soul into Christ to make you complete. I honestly disagree with the ones who says its best for you to live without a religion. To avoid the pressures of people pulling you different directions, start by reading the Holy Bible itself the Gideon's version. Some bibles have mixed up beliefs and be like its ok to do certain things when it's not. Take time out to read it with patience and develop a relationship with Jesus, to save your own soul and become one with Christ. For those that don't even bother to tell this person the right way of how we all should have God in our hearts to say you're trying to help God win souls to the promise land should be ashamed of yourselves. Just go by the good book, your questions will be answered there and I'll help when you have any other questions. What you're really searching for is Holiness. No matter what anyone say, it's about what you want.
I think you should research yourself and see what suits you best and your beliefs. I however am Christian, and believe that is the best for me. Some other religions teach things that are not in the bible, or ignore some things that are in the bible. But some Christian churches do that also.

NO religion is GOOD. Religion does not render goodness. Every outrage was perpetrated; every crime was committed by the believers in religion. The men who made Socrates drink hemlock were religious. The men who crucified Jesus were religious. The bigots who burned Bruno were religious. Hitler and the Nazis were religious. Even the devil believes in the religion of Trinity, and yet it does not seem to improve his moral character! According to the Bible, he trembles, but he does not reform.
We have found that man can govern himself without the assistance of prophets, priests or popes, of sons, ghost or Gods. We have found that religion is not self-evident, and that to believe without evidence is not a virtue. We know that the self-evident is the polar star of the brain and mind. And we know that no one denies the self-evident. We also know that there is no particular goodness in believing when the evidence is present, and certainly there can be none in saying that you believe when the evidence is absent. As for me, I want no religious heaven for which I must give my reason; no happiness in exchange for my liberty, and no immortality that demands the surrender of my individuality.
Why don't you try looking for a religion that satisfies your needs? Do you read the Bible? Maybe you'll gravitate more towards Christianity. Wherever you do find yourself, try to focus and see if that religion is really following what they teach. Do they have a holy book? If so, are they truly living by its teachings? All of us no doubt are searching for something, but sometimes many do not find it. Try to keep these points in mind and you will find what you're looking for. Hope I helped!
In order to find the religion that pleases God we must base ourselves on the teachings found in the Bible. This religion should: - help you get closer to God by helping you learn about him and everything he has done for us (Matthew 4:10; Psalm 83:18; James 4:8) - base its teachings on the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16,17) - not force us to pay for anything (2 Corinthians 9:7) - be united around the world with others that share that same religion, in other words, that does not war between those of the same religion (John 13:35; 1 John 4:20,21) - preach God's Kingdom as man's only hope (Matthew 24:14; Daniel 2:44) - accept Jesus as God's means of salvation (Acts 4:12; John 3:36)
