How do I get my parents to stop thinking I'm anorexic?

I'm really skinny and I always have been. But lately, I've been wanting a better diet and to start eating healthier, along with to start exorcising, but when I tell me parents, they think I'm anorexic! They think I'm to skinny to be worrying about my diet and exercising, and when we go to restaurants, the insist on ordering for me (which always includes larger then average sized meals). I feel like I'm going to be the skinniest person in the world with diabetes with them, but they won't listen. All they see when they look at me I think is a starving child from a third world country, and accuse me of being anorexic! I do wanna gain wait, as I mentioned in my previous question, but not the way they're trying to get me too.

Eat things with a little more calories than you would normally. Gain weight steadily

Honestly that's really weird for your parents to think you are anorexic but in order for them to stop thinking is just to continue eating regularly and say "I'm comfortable, healthy, and i intend to stay that way." Good Luck! :)

I can't tell if you are anorexic or not since I don't know your height and weight. I do think its good you want to eat healthy. You might want to look into assertiveness lessons. Most teenager's parents don't order for them in restaurants. No offense. Perhaps to be certain to see if you are with normal weight, height parameters it would be helpful to see what your doctor says. That way you can show them your doc's note.

Doctors have told me I am under weight before, but thats one of the reasons I want a better diet. I don't want to achieve weight gain by stuffing my face, lol. And I don't let them order for me, they just nag me to order something different (Say I order a salad, they start nagging me to order a burger and fries). It is weird though.

My parents thought that bout me so I started exercising and eating like craZy so now I'm not skinny nor fat

I have a high metabolism. Ive always been thin. Right now im 26 yrs old, 5'8" and weigh 122lbs. The most i ever weighed was 131 and that was after 2 yrs of 5000cal a day and going to the gym 5 days a week!

I get the same thing sometimes. Once a friend made a super rude comment about how skinny i was ( she is anorexic) and made me cry later. I talked it over with my parents to put their worries to rest.
