A real pain in the neck (literally...) causing other problems...

I have been suffering from chronic, severe, neck pain for about 3 months now. The pain is not just in the neck, it radiates down into my collarbones and shoulders. Sometimes I get pain in the arms, even my fingers go numb temporarily. A combination of aching, throbbing pain associated with sharp, stabbing pain. I get headaches everyday, and sometimes I find it difficult to breathe. I also get muscle spasms (not in the neck) but in the shoulders and upper arms. What do you think is causing all this? I know you are not doctors, but I would simply like your opinion on this matter. Thanks folks.

Possible pinched nerves, ear infection. See your doctor. Good luck!

Poor posture. I would bet that you are either on the computer or reading a lot.
With a forward head position, you are straining the neck muscles, causing the brachial plexus to be pinched. Find a good chiropractor. They will know what to do. This is actually more common than you'd think.
