Getting my first tattoo. How much would it cost for the words "Never quit" or "Never Back down" to be tattooed on my wrist?

How much does it hurt? I keep hearing different ideas of what it feels like? I know it would hurt more because its on my wrist but how much does it hurt anyways?

All tattoo artists have different prices, the only way you are going to get an accurate price is by calling around to your local tattoo parlors. How bad does it hurt? Well on fatty areas, it's not too bad, but on areas over bones, it's pretty painful. On your wrist, I'd say it's going to hurt quite a bit. I've heard if you pinch the areas you're thinking about getting tattooed that will give you a basis of the pain, however I don't agree with this.

Why are you asking on here, when you could take your idea to a tattoo shop near you and ask them...

Every tattoo artist charges different prices. I have five at the moment. It depends on your pain threshold although there are parts of the body more sensitive than others. I cannot tell you how much it will or will not hurt you. Try to breathe and relax during your inking and you should be fine.

No pain, no gain. It hurts. A lot. You just have to tough it out, and as for pricing, do as CJ suggests.

How many do you have?

*Mentally counting them* I believe I have 6 of them. LOL. All done in my "drunken" days, and I regret every single one of them.

They all say, make sure if you get a tattoo there is a meaning behind it, well mine all had meanings at the time. lol
Report as
Oh man!! Funny you should say that.. Lol. Still, I admire women who aren't afraid of self-expression.
With future regret in mind, I had mine done where only the selected can see it.
These days, I'm ambivalent about it.

Lmao! I bet they did. Smh. Me too.

Mine are all under clothing, thankfully! LOL.

Why not a "mental" tat? Signifying oneself, as awesome! Last a Lifetime without discoloration with age. Sometimes, the price is considerable, but more reasonable in the long run.

If you do it think about "Numquam Cesseris", it's Latin for "never quit."

everybody has their own pain tolerance of getting inked up. also depends on how well your skin reacts to the pain. and me being a tattoo artist myself. I'd charge $60.

It depends on the artist, style of letters you want, colors and how much detail.just remember if you get a tattoo like that you will forever run into people that will challenge you just to see if it's true
