If money isn't an issue find a house with 7 bedrooms and adequate bathrooms. 8000 sq ft is a mansion by some standards, but if you can afford it and the upkeep, go big!

Thank you. I have one more question, I had an idea that maybe I could just get 2 very big bedrooms have my 3 boys share one and my 3 girls share one. And then have a small guest room and a master. What do you think about my idea?

I'm in the real estate business and can say with certainty that it depends on what's on the market when you're looking. All of your ideas are practical and a good starting place.
The thing is, when you find that special house and fall in love with it, that's the time to decide on sleeping arrangements.
Like I said, all your ideas are good so you won't make a mistake which ever way you go. The house will guide guide you. Sometimes it takes looking at a lot of duds before you find your palace.

Hi Gal, there was mention of foster parents, just wondering, does this applies to you? You sound so happy, bet you're a good mom.

I'm so jealous! Planned on 6 but had to stop at 2. Early congratulations, it's been a pleasure talking with you.

8000 sq feet is a lot of house to keep heated and cool. For a family of 8, I would think 4 bedrooms & 3 baths in about 3000 sq feet should be reasonably comfortable.

There are around 10,000-12,000 square feet required for an expectant mother. The feet requirements are necessary when it comes to the Yoga exercises.

My grandpa was raised in oklahoma and he was 7 out of 13 kids. They lived in a two bedroom, 750' house. Mind you this was in the late 40's early 50's. Would a big house be nicer. Definitely. A must... Not so much. You have to take into account monthly pymt., yearly property taxes, maintenance, utilities. Etc. Big houses take more to heat/ cool.
