What do I do about my dog biting me?

All of a sudden my dog has been snapping/biting me. I think it's when I touch around her rib cage. Is this bad? I'm realty worried. This has never happen before. Also, the biting doesn't hurt just a snap.

Sounds to me like maybe your dog is in pain, around his "ribcage" area, since this is the time he bites you. Perhaps you should talk to your parents and get your doggie to the vet.

Take your dog to the vet. Your dog is hurting and wants to be left alone.

maybe your dog is just moody. If I was you I would take it to go get a check up to make sure it's healthy. It could be just trying tell you something.

A couple different things could be happening. If it was a sudden change, and its only when you touch in a specific spot, your dog could be injured, in which case a vet trip is in order.
If it was a fairly gradual change and it's only really when your dog didn't notice you were there, perhaps your dog is startled or could be going blind from old age.

Try approaching your dog from the front and scratching under her chin/behind her ears. If she seems content with that, move your hands to her shoulder. Try to identify if it's a specific location on her body that she's defending, or if it's a general reaction to being touched. The former requires vet attention, while the latter could be a temperament change due to something like blindness or a stressful situation.
