However soon they want it to be, I guess. My parents got divorced when I was a toddler and my dad got remarried when I was in kindergarten because he was ready to get married again. It depends upon the person
It's not like the law controls who you see and be with, if they did all criminals would be forever alone. You may date and marry whoever you want at whatever time you want. The only thing you can't do it marry two people at the same time. That is where the law cuts in, but if you've divorced someone and want to remarry you may do as you please. I say good for you! If you had a bad marriage don't mope until your 60 with no chance of ever finding someone, because you waited so long. You should try and get back out there as soon as your emotionally available. The longest you should ever wait to find someone else after a divorce is 2 years. I am not saying look for another husband, but you should look for a boyfriend. Because you know it'll take a few tries to get the perfect boyfriend who's husband material. No one wants to be alone forever, so do not wait 15 years like you've got no brain. See a therapist if you can't will yourself to move on after 2 or 3 years.
Though one can immediately remarry legally.. I believe one should not. Traditional waiting period is 1year.. My personal rule for myself is to wait 6 months for each year you were married before you seriously date someone you would want to marry
