I'm not going into a whole big spiel here and I figure at least one person is going to make a snide comment but...
Evolution through intelligent design.
Also, you can believe in Creationism while still believing in the evolutionary theory. Take dogs for example - we know that there are many different breeds of dogs. They came about because of either mankind breeding for certain traits, or physical adaptation to their environments. That is kinda a form of evolution, and recognizing that doesn't go against religion.
I believe in evolution because I can't think of anything else besides God created us, which I don't believe. I never really understood religion. Going to Church for hours a week to talk about someone that no one has ever seen? And if God did exist why are there diseases and hunger and poverty? It just seems too imaginary to me.
Everything about the earth and its inhabitants is so wonderfully created, it cannot be "banged" into existence. Evolution can take place within species. For example, humans can change their DNA by environmental and lifestyle habits. God has created a wonderful world if we would just take care of it.
