Country.....breath fresh air, see nature firsthand, I know where my food comes from ( I grow it, most of it anyway ), nobody all up in my bizz, can walk around nakked in my yard if I want to, to name a few nice things but the list goes on......I have lived in the ' big city ' and it ain't all bad at times......both have their good and bad but rather live out in da sticks since I have a choice.
I grew up on a farm, bailing hay and working in fields all day long; gathering eggs and milking the cow. and it was great! I live in a small city now, in an old wonderful neighborhood. if I get to missing the country life, I just watch an ole back and white film...;-)
Country life. Although there is more things to do in the city like going to movies and stuff, I will always prefer the country. I've always lived in the country. And anything you do in the city costs money. Plus you can't go snow machining or dirt biking or camping or anything in the city. It is also peaceful and quiet and relaxing in the country. You also have more privacy since the houses aren't as close together like in the city. Also, you can provide a better life for pets in the country with more space and freedom. :)
I was born in Trenton, NJ, and lived there for the first 14 years of my life. It was nice, but we lived in a bad neighborhood. Then we moved to the Poconos in PA. It's safer (people-wise), but there are bears and coyotes in the woods behind our house. I definitely have more freedom in the country, but the city calls me...
Never lived quite out in the country, but I prefer being there. I stayed in Orlando for a while, heavy populated area definitely, hated it. Too many people, too noisy, too much to think about. I live in a sub-division of Fort Myers, I like it much better than the city. And last but not least, the country (or the swamp), big preference to that, mainly because nobody really cares if I go outback and start shooting random stuff...
I like living in a small city, but the country seems amazing. I think i would want a balance of both, living just outside the city, so theres people around but also quiet. and yes, getting to shoot random stuff is definitely a big bonus :P
Though I have lived in the city my whole life I think the country gives a better quality of life. It is peaceful, you care for yourself more, you get more space, get to have animals, you dont have to worry about rude city people and their rat race mentallity.
I prefer being in the country over the city. Though I was raised in apartments, I love being in the country because it's beautiful! There's more green, more animals, and cleaner air. You can see the stars unblocked by artificial light or large buildings. I love being able to have pets like pigs, cows, horses, etc, and you cannot do that in the city because of the HOA and crap like that., I can also have as many Pitbulls as I want without the HOA riding my butt about it. ALL HAIL THE COUNTRY LIFE!!!! :D <3
