If some one is in a hospital for rehab how can I transfer them to another hospital we are not happy with the one she is in now

I need to know what the procedure is

I currently intern in an Intensive Care Unit. You would need to talk to her nurses and doctors and they will help you through out the procedure because they have to find a hospital that will accept her as a patient.

you will need to talk with their doctor about transferring the patient, then let the hospital administrators know where to transfer the patient, and let them know why-after they are transferred.

I would first start by looking into other Hospital's in the area. Then I'd check to see if her Doctor's have treating privileges in those Hospitals,if she wants to keep her Doctors.
Then I'd check if her Insurance will pay to transport her from one Hospital to another.
Then I'd sit down with the discharge department and let them make all the arrangements with the receiving hospital.
It's not something I'd do without great thought and a pretty darn good reason. And I'd make sure it was HER decision to leave, not the family's or mine.

Just request a transfer with the primary doctor. However the receiving facility and doctor can refuse to accept the patient for a variety of reasons.
