I've had a cold ever since two weeks ago and it's not going away! How can I make a cold go away faster than it normally would?

I've been dressing warm, staying indoors, keeping the heat on, drinking alot of water, I've even been putting germ X on every day! what more can I do? it's been going on for two weeks today! it's SOOOO Annoying! when I sneeze, I don't sneeze once! there's like five more sneezes in a row! my nose is runny, and when I sit down its stuffed up! when I lay down on my side, the nostril on the side I'm on gets stuffed! I want it to go away..

Get more sleep. That's when your body heals itself. All those other things are good, but they just deal with the problem. They aren't remedies. Rest is what your body needs to make itself better. Continue with what you're doing, but rest. Get some Vicks rub for when you sleep. I just got some and I forgot how great it works. I could breath in seconds after putting it on my chest and neck.

That's very good that your dressing warm and drinking water and stuff. Maybe take an allergy pill. I use Zyrtec and it helps a lot with my sneezing and runny nose

Also, make sure your eating healthy. Not just water but eat lots of fruits and veggies

Are you sure it's not mono? That would explain why it is lasting so long. You should go to a doctor to be sure.

What's mono?

I don't really know how to explain it. I believe it's a virus, it presents Otago like the cold or flu, and it can last for weeks or even months. Definitely go to your doctor, even if you don't have it they know more about it than I do.

Colds usually last 7-10 says so there's a chance it could be something else

After all this time, you should see your primary care doctor. Get a proper diagnosis so you can be treated correctly.
