Crusades... They were Catholics who killed many, many many people, but were still holey men. God forgave then, and if God doesn't for give you then he's (let's face it) a hypocritical God. just saying.
If you repent, yes. But the question, should we support war? Jesus said in John 13:34,35 "I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.?
God, doesn't care, were the only ones who care. tho it is rumored that we should'nt kill one another, God causes death regularly, or at least the ways & means for it, so go right ahead planets got way too many anyways. to answer a q. with a q. when the next pestilence, and disease going to arrive, we are due.
No. Fighting for your country in a "just war" is a noble thing to do. Unfortunately, the death of men and women is a tragic consequence of war. However, if your military superiors order you to do something that is intrinsically immoral, such as executing innocent victims, then you are REQUIRED to refuse by the moral law (Jas 4:17). You cannot say, "I was only following orders," as many Nazis did at the end of World War II. This will not get you off the hook for doing an immoral act.
David killed Goliath---david said: you come to me with ........ But i come in the name of the Lord! If God is in the battle with you.... Killing is not murder! Murder is from the intent of the heart. It comes from greed/pride/ hate! God knows your heart!
