That's certainly the big question, though I've never heard it phrased quite like that.
Protestant churches don't think you need a lobbyist, that you can approach God yourself. Catholics, and probably the Orthodox Churches, have lobbyists by the score. They call them saints and Catholics are encouraged to pray to them so that they can intercede with God on your behalf. I'm not sure they approve of the "lobbyist" tag but, if it's big and grey, with a trunk and tusks at one end and a tail at the other, it's probably a lobbyist.
Of course, lobbyists are professionals and require payment, so don't forget to leave your tithe on the collection plate next Sunday.
God is Spirit, He lives through His faithful followers, WE are His hands and feet. Just like the wind, you can't see it but you see the effects of it. And the lobbyist part, think you were just being sarcastic so that doesn't deserve an answer.
Yes god is everywhere, and if you choose to seek god out, then to the extent of which you'r will seeks to that extent will you find god, do not rely on your own understandings of how god should be answering you, or when you should have been answered, rather give god time to work, and when you feel he's asked you to do some of the work, then do so, seek and you will find, as far as the rest goes, if god is not real, and we are so intelligent to believe that to be the answer, then we must have all the answers, because to come to such a conclusion we need to exclude all the possibilities, the unexplained people who have died been to the other side, and came back to tell of what they've seen and heard, all of the futuristic knowledge they wrote about that came to pass, such as conversations with god books, we would have to exclude all miracles that can't be explained, and as far as levels of heaven, I didn't know you went there already, well good for you, I'm jealous and god said theirs only seven right, huh, well maybe god has had time to build more, well, if you go back there tell god I said hi, and personally I think gods number is seven because, the devil learned to count to six and thought that's the highest number so he made his number to be six, so then god didn't want him to feel too bad, so he said ok then I'll be seven then, (talk about a puzzled look) lol

God is a wishful guess. God, or the idea of god is a psychological phenomenon born of ignorance and fear of the unknown; not a physical one. We have no evidence to authenticate, no proof to validate or no reason to justify, AS YET, the religious claim for the existence of gods. Neither faith, nor tradition is a proof. A long lecture is not necessary since the imperfections takes away from God the perfection ascribed to god, and this is how god may be disproved. It's safe to assume, SO FAR, that the possibilities of the existence of any god is equal (if not inferior) with the possibilities of the existence of unicorns.
If there be an INFINITE god of this serene heavens, he surely needs not the help of FINITE FRAUDS to MEDIATE between him and all his children equally. We have no cause or ground from anything we behold to suppose that a god would deal partially by mankind, play favorites, and reveal himself to one group of men, and hide from another, and then roast them eternally for unbelief.
( 51 ) And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise. Quran (42:51)
You dont need an appointment. You just talk to Him. If you are an unbeliever He may not listen tho. If you have honest questions He might but if youre just going to be snarky probably not. Also since He does 'speak' outloud to people usually, youll have to look out for His answer to you. If He answers you ill be through someone else - like, say, Christians here or someone else you run into somewhere.
You don't need an appointment to talk to God... Tell him anything you want.. There is only one mediator between God and man and that's through Jesus... Not a priest or religious things... But through Jesus
No lobbyist needed! Jesus says that the honest prayer of the publican was "be merciful to me, a sinner," and he said that man went away justified as opposed to the one who prayed, " I thank you God that I am not as the publican or the sinner." Evidently, God is a close as a sincere prayer, as open to our petitions as a voiced request. Of course, you can trust an atheist, they have lots of miracles to show their word is true, or you can trust the word of a man almost universally considered a great moral teacher.
You do not need an appointment to talk to God, it is very simple just humble yourself, go to your knees and start talking He will hear you. Now for the hard part, be quiet and listen remembering sometimes His answer to your requests is no. Listen for the still small voice and never forget to say thank you.
