About thyroid ---I have started taking medication as i have hypothyroidism, i feel more weak since then and dizzy all the time, why?

Its only been 15 days i have started taking eltroxin med for hypothyroidism. For the last 4-5 days i feel more weaker, tired, dizzy, sleepy, no desire to get up and do anything.I have not been able to do my regular chores and i am not working right now. why is this happening , whats the solution, and does it happen to everyone? Please help...

No it is suppose to be taken on empty stomach the doctor said.

Normally the weak/dizziness is from medication getting into your system all at once, which is why I asked if you're taking it with food. I'd ask your doctor about it. He/she may think your dose is a little high or suggest something.

This is pretty normal reaction at start, but you should notify your dr so he can adjust your dosage.

What time of day are you taking it? The norm is to recommend it be taken in the am before breakfast. Some people do better in the evening.
