It doesn't hurt when they pierce it cause your adrenaline is high. It hurts when it's healing because it's a "puncture wound" & has to heal from the inside out. Take vitamin B complex everyday to help it heal faster from within. You can start taking it before too! Don't touch it once you have it pierced unless it's time to clean with a wash cloth & warm soap & water. NEVER put anything on the outside of the wound (no ointments, alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide!) - this will NOT help it heal faster. Like I said, it's a "puncture wound" & NEEDS to heal from inside out or you will experience many problems - trust me from my experience! I've had mine for 16 years & love it. Make sure you have pants & under garmets that don't go over your belly button when you sit... or you'll just cause it to regress in healing process.
U decide but ima guy and those piercings would set me back abit. You don't Needa put your body on display. A guy will like you for who u are not what you look like.. There's nothin wrong or right about it.. But good luck with it haha
If you have a professional then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I had mine done at 16 at Modern Primitives. It only hurt for a second and it, pretty much, just itched afterwards. The only other time it hurts is the first year if you pull on it or switch it out.
Belly piercings can be cute and fun as long as you have a small ring in, not anything huge and that dangles. You have to be cautious that you don't get the bar caught on any clothing or anything you pick up, wash cloths, ect, because you can rip it out and it will hurt. Also avoid activities while it is healing such as cheer leading or tubing, wake boarding, ect. How the belly button is pieced is with a hollow needle, and it actually takes out a chunk of your skin so the 14 gauge ring can fit in there. Getting it pierced will not hurt because of adrenaline but the new skin is trying to cover what was damaged where it was pierced will be sore while it heals. It will also smell a little bit and it will probably itch a lot. You will have problems sleeping for awhile. If it doesn't bother you to the point where you just want to take it out it will be well worth getting it pierced. Good luck!
It doesn't hurt. You might be uncomfortable while getting used to it. Make sure it doesn't catch on anything, follow care instructions. Do NOT take it out before healing or replace with dangly jewelry.
I have my lips pierced, septum, and ear lobes pierced (ear lobes are stretched to 1 inch and I'm 14) I'm really good with pain too! On a scale 1-10 the pain never went over 2-3. I'm use to needles and stuff though so I don't know if that's why it doesn't hurt much but you should be fine! You'll live after you get it done. I've never hurt of a piercing being unbearable so you should do perfectly fine! c:
