I worked at a residential camp. On forms what should I put for hours?

I'm filling out forms for college (scholarships and such) one asks for work experience and hours. I'm not sure what to put for hours because I basically worked 24/7 with the exception of breaks. If you don't count sleep then I worked from 7-9 or 10 (again not including breaks) but if a kid wakes up at 2 am I still have to take care of them so I'm still working... And once we got permission to take them to the midnight showing of a movie so that day i worked from 7 am - 4 am.

The form asks for "average hours per week"

You should state that you worked for long hours and give an estimate of the hours you worked in a week or month. The other details can be explained in person. The sponsors might call you in person in order to learn more. This will give you the chance of explaining the details.

How is the form formatted? Can you write "On site care, available 24 hours"?

it says average hours per week and it's just a little box to put a number in

Since it wants the average hours, you said you work 7am to 9 or 10 pm. So we'll average 9-10 as 9:30. 7am-9:30 pm is 14.5 hours. Did you work 7 days a week or did you work 5 or 6? Take the number of days and multiply it by 14.5 and you will haave you average number of hours per week and put that in.
