I've tried unsuccessfully ( twice ) to grow chinese lantern plants ? what should i know....?

You need to ask a local florist if you are in an area where those flowers grow.
If you have the right conditions, you can plant the lantern seeds,but it must be in a location that will not be disturbed. They take 2 years to grow.If you plant the seed and forget where you planted it, you might dig there and lose the seeds etc. So pick a spot..put a little metal around the spot and wait. Water the seeds as per direction.

they take two years to germinate ? that could be my problem. thank you.
