Shark fin soup.
Well, not quite nasty, but . . .custard.
When I was doing basic military training I left the table to get a cup of coffee then came back and ate the custard I'd left behind. I had a couple of mouthfuls and said, "This is the saltiest custard I've ever eaten." There were nods of agreement from around the table and I kept eating -- we didn't leave food in the army, there wasn't enough of it. When I had eaten about half of it I realised that one of my buddies (and I use that term VERY loosely) had emptied a salt cellar into it.
howdy:)
When I was young.... we ate a pig's little round... wee wee thinggets....they called them "Mountain Oysters".... I was not happy with my grandma for years..

Chocolate twizzlers. Ok maybe not the nastiest, but pretty close.

Chocolate covered grasshopper, the crunch was so disgusting I thought I might not get it to go down!
Fat lady named Carol
I don't know if this counts, but cherry flavored cough medicine. As a little child, my mother seemed to think that was the best solution to everything, and of course every time I took it, I threw it up. To this day I have trouble taking any liquid medicine. I still have cold chills just thinking about the taste of that stuff.

I was in Korea, and I tried a live octopus. It wasn't so much the taste, but the texture and movement inside my mouth and the rubbery texture.
