Maternity disability benefit from state of California in case of transfer to another state before delivery?

Hi,
I have worked in CA from July-12 to Feb-13 and now getting transferred by the same company in NJ from March-13. I need to apply for my maternity disability benefit from May-13. I believe my 2 months stay in NJ is not enough to be eligible for a benefit from NJ State; can I apply from the state of CA when I’ll deliver the baby in NJ?
