I'm in 8th grade, i really like this guy but I dont know if he likes me, we see eachother around but hardly ever have a real conversation?

I sometimes think he likes me but then asks another girl out, what do i do?

Nothing. If he does not like you enough to ask you out instead of another girl, he's not worth it. I had the same problem, and for years and years I've had it bad for this guy...but he does not like me. I wasted 6 years being inn love with someone who does not like me back, it's best to move on before you start to like him too much and then can't stop. You're in the 8th grade, take it easy..enjoy yourself with out a guy for a while. Remember the guy you might date now, will probably not be your true love in the future, so don't worry about it. You've got loads of time to find the right guy...don't go searching while your so young. If someone comes along at your age now and you both like each other, so be it. But remember, it never gets really serious until you're much older.

OK, that's a good start. Boys are actually pretty easy to deal with and most are up for a friendship with a girl but have no idea at your age how to proceed. So since you are the one looking to change the inertia I would suggest bumping into him by "accident" and say hi my name is..... And just start talking. No dates. Too formal. Just stand and talk every day for a few minutes and get comfortable with each other and let your friendship grow from there. Let the together activities be a natural outgrowth of that. Group activities are easiest to do. Good luck.
