If its real whipped cream it would melt/bubble a little, but lots of whipped creams (cool whip, and most of the spray ones) are made of oil which would probably catch fire

Thank you very very very much!! Would it be possible to blow the fire out right away so that it was just left browned?

If it's in a bowl, probably. If its in a can/ or a flame is near the can, it will explode and set a huge fire

I was trying to figure out if I could brown my cupcake's icing -.-
Report as
You could brown it if there were marsh mellow in it, or toast coconut and sprinkle it on top.

Melt, im pretty sure the aerosol is non flammable. If its real whip cream its dairy which will melt going back to liquid form, it will only explode if you are holding the flam to the can, normal whipped cream in the tub or spray can should catch fire at all.I

Gah! Forgot to tell you dont use a lighter or match to do that, it will taste like the match or the lighter fluid, you can get a cooking torch or a small butane torch to do it.
