I want to subtract two dates and want to get the result as how many years, months and days in excel. Is any one can help in this?

All you need to do is to choose the cell you want to subtract and create a formula manually fro subtraction on the whole content that you want to subtract and add to get the results. I know I shouldn't be answering this question, ok for years it is =DATEDIF(E3,$A,$1,"Y") and for months try =DATEDIF(E3,$A,$1,"YM") , E3 is the actual birth date such as 05/05/1999.
This should lead you in the right direction.
