What really causes snoring?

I have a 12 year old sister and boy she snores! It's just incredulous to know a little girl snores, because I don't.

Actually, at age 12, there is not much doubt that tonsillar tissues are the cause. They could either be the palatine tonsils (which you can see in the back of her throat) or the adenoids (which you can't see). If she has any behavioral issues, is not growing properly, etc.., you should consider having these tissues removed.

It is caused by some blockage in the nasal passage for the noisy breathing sound during your sleep. The snoring is continuous and usually rhythmic. Luckily, children will not loss of sleep having a Primary Snoring.
