I think I did but I cant prove it but with everything I know it was real. I woke up and I was floating over my body like in bewitch, and I thought to my self wow thats what I look like when Im sleeping. Then I realized that I wasnt in my body. Then these two angels came and one was on each side of me as we floated up into this dark tunnel. I remember when I got there it was a golden light that you can not desribe. And when I was floating up I remember all the worries were flying off the back of my shoulders like the mist does on a planes wings.
I was standing on the banks of a river that was going into the ocean on the other side Jesus standing I stood closer and said now he rose his hand any said not yet. The bank gave way and I fell in the water and was rushed out to sea . Looking in the direction I was being washed to I saw a hole in the water all the water was being sucked down I went in and about fifty ft down I was swooped into this cave like area I could see the water going further down past where I was now standing and there was like a spot light on me following where ever I walked I saw little glossy wrinkled skinned creatures coming up to me but could only get so close because of the light that was surrounding me . I stood there for a minute and said ok so what's next. And woke up
Near Death Experiences have been conclusively disproved. As you are dying, your brain is being starved of oxygen. Your neurons are firing and you may experience feelings of euphoria as a result. Delusion also happens. This is where the "white light" phenomena come from. Death is a weird biochemical process. Strange things occur, but it is not mystical, just sad.
Yes, a death experience. Picture Christmas morning as a child when you realized santa thought you were good all year, that feeling you have when you know the person you love or have a crush on feels the same way, times a thousand. Its an unbelievable love and joy like nothing on this earth! And I only got a glimpse. Some info was given to me that makes me know it WAS real and not some imagination thing people claim these things are. Heaven is real.
Yes, I had a very vivid dream of heaven. It was extremely clear, powerful and motivating. Not surprisingly, it matched the version of heaven as described by my religious beliefs. I can't say that it felt like normal, waking reality, but it felt very different than an ordinary dream. I also had a vivid dream of an out of body experience, rising into the night sky. While it left me with a deep sense of peace it never meant much because it lacked a specific meaning.
"Near Death Experiences" are just your neurons misfiring due to lack of oxygen as you die- it's hallucination. You see what you expect to see due to cultural or religious background.
Around 18% of people who are resuscitated from cardiac death experience these hallucinations; nit surprisingly thus is the same 18% that have elevated blood pressure at the time. They can actually be replicated with drugs like ketamine or high g-forces like the centrifuges used to train test pilots. It's kind of fascinating. When you hit 9 g's- boom. You pass out, and likely hallucinate a "near death experience".
