Is it safe to breed hamsters at home?

I have male and female hamsters and I've read it's not safe, how do I when it is safe?

It is safe to breed hamsters at home. However, you need to have a large cage and ensure that it is kept clean so as to avoid any infections to the young ones and also to yourself. A vet may also be of help to guide you on the breeding procedure if contacted. Read more details at http://hamsterhighway.webs.com/breedinghamsters.htm.

Also, depending where the person is, there may need to be licenses involved to make them a breeder. If it turns out they DO need a license, jail time may emerge.

Ok to breed your pets is a bad idea it is very unhealthy if you don't have training. Also you will HAVE to give the pinkies up because the mother can't be around the for more then 4-5 weeks and the father can't see them at all. Also breeding shortens the mother life span
