It makes sense because if you love someone you don't like them, you love them, and even if that's not the situation, it doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense, cuz love doesn't make any sense but we still do it anyways.
Yeah, one hundred percent. True love is caring for someone even when you don't feel like it. For example, mentally ill people. It's not fun for me to talk to them hours on end. But, I can talk to them for a while, because I love them. Same with people in the nursing home. I don't always enjoy talking to them, but I enjoy seeing the smile on their faces. Love is a choice, and not always a feeling. It's being there for a person not for the benefit of you, but for them.
In romantic situations it's not a good idea to fall in love with someone you don't like. It can lead to profound unhappiness. Think of waking up with disgust in your heart every day. Or hating going home at the end of the day or dreading him/her coming home. Is that something you really want to live with all your life?
