About a post apocalyptic society that separates its social classes into multiple districts, and every year they choose 2 different citizens from each district to fight each other in a death match

In the future a continent called Pemem was split into 12 districts. To have district 1 ( the capital ) stay in chage they select one male and female from the ages of 12 - 18 to fight the the death in a live tv show for all of penem to watch. A little girl prim was chosen so her sister volunteers to take her place. But the male that got chosen with her is in LOVE with her but he knows there can only be one winner of the games but...... GO WATCH THE MOVIE :) you will love it

It's about a post apocalyptic place with 12 districts under panem. To keep control of the districts there are annual fights to the death where two people from each district are sent in. The winner provides hope to the district but the games also provide fear which helps the gov control the people. READ THE BOOKS. Movie is good too though.
