No. Canada has fishermen. America has Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winners.

Every country awards their own citizens all kinds of silly awards. You know, like the awards handed out to kids for just trying out in sports - even though they didn't actually win anything........ If you mean internationally recognized awards..... yes... Canada wins a disproportionate number of awards to population size. IE: we have 1/10th the population of America and still win more than 1/10 prizes. It only makes sense when you look at education statistics...... Canada is usually in the top 5 worldwide.....
